Robert Doyle
State Senator - District 10
Democratic
I've lived in Arizona for over 55 years and received a bachelor's and MBA from ASU. Since 1992, I've owned Canyon Records which produces Native American music and have earned a Grammy Award, 37 Grammy-nominations, a Platinum Record, two Gold Records, and the inaugural Governor's Arts Award for Small Business. In 2018, I volunteered with the LD18 Democrats, coordinating five Mesa precincts. In 2019, in support of Yes for Mesa Schools, I funded and managed a mailing to 5,500 households. In 2020, I continued as the Mesa precincts coordinator. Since moving to northeast Mesa, I've volunteered with the LD10 Democrats.
As a small businessman, long-time resident of Mesa, and Democratic activist, I believe in€¦ PROTECTING a woman's right to choose and the constitutional right to freedom from government intrusion into her privacy and health decisions. INVESTING in public education (nationally) Arizona ranks almost last) and reforming the voucher system, which is a taxpayer subsidy to religious and private entities (and has the potential to develop into a serious financial crisis for Arizona). ENSURING equal rights for all communities (including those defined by gender and genetics) and pushing back on bigotry. SUPPORTING affordable housing including assistance for first-time buyers and rent stabilization for mobile home owners. INCREASING fiscal standards of responsibility and accountability in the legislature to ensure that taxpayer money is used efficiently and effectively and for the benefit of all Arizonans. STRENGTHENING our voting laws to protect our officials, staff, and volunteers. DEFENDING the Constitution and the time-honored values of our democracy which are based on rationality and enhancing the public good and not derived from emotion or dogma.
David Christian Farnsworth
State Senator - District 10
Republican
Senator David Farnsworth, born in Mexico City in 1951, has been an Arizona resident since 1952. A small business owner, he owns Farnsworth and Associates and has previous ventures in real estate, auto sales, and distribution. With experience as a licensed real estate and insurance agent, supervisor, and mechanic, he understands Arizona's business landscape. Married to Robin Farnsworth, they have 7 children and are active in the LDS Church. Farnsworth attended Mesa High School and Mesa Community College, studying Business Administration. His dedication to Arizona and extensive professional background make him a valuable representative.
Having served in the State Senate, I initially retired until the call to return to public service came knocking. Given the delicate balance of our legislature, it's imperative that we elect Republicans who steadfastly uphold our cherished values. Among my priorities is addressing the pressing issue of children lost within the Arizona Department of Child Safety, a cause I champion as the chair of the Senate Transportation, Technology, and Missing Children Committee, alongside my role as co-chairman of the DCS Oversight Committee. Recognized as the Champion of the Taxpayer, I have consistently advocated for crucial matters such as border security, school choice, Second Amendment rights, the sanctity of life, and the importance of strong family values. With roots tracing back three generations in Arizona, I am deeply committed to preserving our state's unique identity. Your support in the upcoming election is paramount. Let us safeguard Arizona from the perils of misguided policies that would mimic those of California. Together, let us work towards the restoration of liberty. Your vote for me, David Christian Farnsworth, will ensure our shared values endure.

Matt Greer is a conservative who believes in Arizona principles like limited government, fiscal responsibility, and freedom. Matt is running because he doesn't like the path Arizona is going down. Matt's family has been here for generations and will be here for generations to come. Arizona has been made strong by being built upon strong Republican ideals and Matt doesn't want to see that change in his lifetime. When he was 19, Matt served a mission for his church in South America where he became fluent in Spanish. At age 22, Matt entered the US Army and attended the Infantry and Airborne School. He was then stationed at Fort Bragg, NC where he served as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne's 2/504th Parachute Infantry Regiment for 5 years and deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Matt's passion for service in his church and the military has prepared him to serve us in the Arizona State House. Matt is the father of 2 children and sees it as his highest calling. Matt currently works as a real estate agent in our community helping folks achieve the American Dream.
Ralph Heap

4 th generation Arizonan. Physician/Orthopedic Surgeon for 40 years here in the East Valley. Graduated magna cum laude from ASU and received my medical degree from the UofA. Married my high school sweetheart Denise and we've been blessed with 3 children and 8 grandchildren. In addition to helping with our church and local causes, I've volunteered with three overseas medical organizations that help in third world countries, and I've served numerous medical missions providing pediatric orthopedic care to countries including Nicaragua, Bolivia, Zimbabwe and Papua New Guinea. My hobbies include triathlons, astronomy, and playing in a bluegrass band.
The Heap family has been in Arizona for generations, and we believe in public service and giving back. I'm honored to have the support of so many great Arizonans, veterans, first responders, small business owners, farmers, doctors and nurses, and more. I'm a proud lifelong conservative Republican ready to drain the Arizona swamp and do what is right. I'll protect our Constitutional rights (especially our 2 nd Amendment rights). I'll fight to end illegal immigration and prohibit taxpayer-funded benefits for those here illegally. I'll keep taxes and regulations low so our economy can thrive. I'll secure our elections so it is easy to vote and impossible to cheat. I'll support school choice and parental rights, abolish CRT and DEI programs, and protect girls' sports and locker rooms. I'll improve our health care system. I'll back the blue and other first responders. And I'll support reforms to how Congress does its business, starting with a Balanced Budget Amendment and Term Limits. I ran a successful medical practice for decades and know government is too large, too burdensome, and too expensive. Restoring our liberties means making government smaller and returning to our constitutional roots. I'm ready to roll and ask for your vote!
Helen Hunter
State Representative - District 10
Democratic
https://www.ld10cleanteam.com/
Dr. Helen Hunter - a community organizer, social justice advocate, and businesswoman - is a Board-Certified Chaplain and an Ordained Minister. Dr. Hunter has lived in Mesa 18+ years and is active in East Valley cities and organizations, addressing community policing, homelessness, affordable housing, racial inequities, smoke-free living, cultural arts appreciation, and inter-faith collaborations. She holds a BA in Foreign Language Education, a Master of Divinity degree, and a Doctor of Theology degree. As a mother and grandmother, Dr. Hunter also works to support equitable school funding and women's reproductive rights.
My name is Helen Hunter, and I am a candidate for the Arizona House of Representatives, Legislative District 10, encompassing Northeast Mesa. I am running for office again, because I have not seen the changes in our government and society that are so critically needed. As a candidate for the AZ House, I am hoping for an opportunity to help introduce and enact legislation that a) raises the bar for Arizona public education by providing equitable school funding, accountable ESA voucher management, and higher teacher pay, b) improves the economic well-being of all Arizonans and, c) provides for efficient, effective water analysis and management. Considering the recent legislative and judicial rulings in Arizona and across the country, I am also committed to work to restore and protect Arizona women's reproductive rights. I am long-time proponent of the universal and all-encompassing Golden Rule, treating others as I (and most of us) would like to be treated. Therefore, if elected, I will advocate for respectful dialogue, compassionate compromise, and meaningful solutions that create accountable legislation and preserve democratic values.
Justin Olson
State Representative - District 10
Republican
Justin Olson is a former member of the Arizona Corporation Commission and the Arizona State Legislature. He currently serves as the CFO of Turning Point USA. Justin has been a leader in advancing the conservative movement throughout his career. Justin holds an MBA in finance from Arizona State University. He and his wife, Karyn, both were born and raised in Mesa where they are currently raising their nine children.
In this race, I am the candidate with a proven conservative record. My successful legislation cut taxes, balanced the budget, eliminated job killing bureaucratic red tape, defunded Planned Parenthood and Obamacare in Arizona, expanded school choice, and funded public safety. I earned an A+ rating from the NRA, "Champion of the Taxpayer " from the Arizona Republican Party, "Friend of the Family " from the Arizona Family Project, "Legislator of the Year " from the National Federation of Independent Businesses, and "Free Market Champion of the Year " by The Arizona Free Enterprise Club. When I left the Legislature, we had passed the first structurally balanced budget the state had seen in years and Forbes Magazine ranked Arizona #1 nationally for projected job growth. In 2018, I was elected to the Arizona Corporation Commission. I fought against the Arizona Green New Deal, protected Arizona ratepayers and advanced free markets. As CFO of Turning Point USA, I am in the trenches fighting the good fight to save our country. With your support, I will continue these important efforts of advancing freedom, faith, and family, and standing up for common sense conservative principles like secure borders, the rule- of-law, the second amendment, and the right-to-life.
