In our lifetime, never has our state and nation's future depended on the outcome of an election My name is Stephanie Stahl Hamilton, and I am running for re-election to the Arizona House of Representatives in District 21. I was first elected to the State House in 2020. Serving the public is my calling and vocation. The wife of a public middle school teacher and mom of three children, education has always been a top priority. I spent my personal and professional life advocating for the needs of children in my community. Through it all, I saw how the legislature has failed Arizona families, especially our most vulnerable populations. I know how to help constituents access the services they need and overcome the challenges they face. I have worked to protect our water and air, fought for reproductive freedom, and pushed for all people to be treated with dignity and respect. With an eye to the future, I am committed to enacting policies that create opportunities for Arizona children and families while safeguarding resources so that generations beyond will have what they need to succeed. I promise that I will serve with justice, compassion, and common sense.

I am a Tucson native, a husband, and father. I am a Christian. Professionally, I am an engineer. My family has been a part of southern Arizona for many decades. We have worked in the mines, helped bring water to our neighborhoods and farming communities, run local businesses, and invested in our pueblos. I attended both Pima Community College and the University of Arizona. During graduate school, I moved to Mexico to teach and learn. I returned home and continued working with folks from all walks of life. These experiences have taught me the value of investing in people.
People matter. What we do today, matters. With a long view of history in mind, we can easily discern our trajectory forward. The obvious question is - what do we need to now to provide every avenue of success to future generations? Our response to this question will determine how well we accomplish our mission. Our Arizona State Constitution declares (Article 2, Section 1) "A frequent recurrence to fundamental principles is essential to the security of individual rights and the perpetuity of free government. " As well as (Article 2, Section 2) "All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, and are established to protect and maintain individual rights. " With this foundation established, put me to work. I will fight for educational freedom, to improve scholastic standards, regain control of our border, protect our citizens' liberties, and help restore our adherence to values embraced and required by our Constitutional Republic. It is our responsibility to teach future generations how to protect and keep a very rare gift - freedom.
