Flavio Bravo
State Senator - District 26
Democratic
https://flaviobravo.com/
A fifth-generation Arizonan, born and raised in the 26th district, Senator Flavio Bravo serves on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, Central Arizona Shelter Services, Open Hearts Family Wellness, and the Kino Border Initiative. A proud first-generation college graduate, Flavio holds degrees from Loyola University Chicago and the University of San Francisco, where he was recognized as a 30 Under 30 Alumni and received their Public Service Award. Flavio is also a proud alumnus of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) Graduate Fellowship in Washington, D.C., and of Valle del Sol's Hispanic Leadership Institute. My name is Flavio Bravo, and I have the great privilege of serving as your State Senator. I was first elected to the Arizona State Legislature in November 2022, and currently serve on the Senate Elections, Judiciary, and Rules committees. Two years ago, I ran on a platform of supporting public education, expanding affordable housing, and improving healthcare outcomes across our community. I am proud to share that I have since introduced and passed multiple legislative proposals out of committee and out of the Senate chamber ranging from improving teacher contracts, to increasing funding for emergency shelter programs for Arizonans living on the streets, to leading legislation in support of Arizonans with autism, which was included in a bipartisan bill signed by Governor Hobbs this session. That said, I realize that our district and our state continue to face great challenges. I humbly ask for your support, so that I can continue to fight for a more just and livable future for all Arizonans.

I was born in Oakland CA, raised by two parents, with four sisters and two brothers. I joined the military in February 1974 and retired February 1994. I have been married to the same wonderful woman since 1978, and we have two boys and one granddaughter. I have worked for the City of Phoenix as a Police Officer, Section 8 Inspector and retired from Neighborhood Services as an Inspector in 2015. I am a proud Christian and a leader in my church. I'm a candidate for State Senate because I'm tired of the political games being played and the high price that our district pays as a result. We deserve the same clean, safe streets and quality schools that other districts have, but until the political nonsense stops, we won't get them. We deserve jobs, good roads, and all the rest, but we get none of it. When voters tell me that I'm not a politician I agree wholeheartedly, and I think that's a good thing. We need to elect more people who will do the right thing for the right reason and who are looking out for others, not themselves. I'm a retired veteran who was proud to serve his country and I think we need that same sense of public service in our elected officials. I'm also a proud retiree of the City of Phoenix, which is where I learned so much about how government does and does not work. And of course, I've been active in my church and our community. I ask for your vote and hope that you will talk to your friends and neighbors and spread the word about my campaign. Thank you!

Cesar Aguilar
State Representative - District 26
Democratic
https://www.aguilar4az.com/
Cesar Aguilar was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona from a working-class family. Cesar's mom was an English Language Learner teacher, and his dad is still today a Union Heat & Frost Insulator in Local #73. Cesar graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor's in political science and after graduating in 2016, Cesar went off to work for the Arizona Democratic Party. Cesar today focuses his time at the Arizona Students' Association, where Cesar works on advocating for college accessibility and affordability. Cesar truly believes that education is the greatest equalizer, and our communities are strengthened by working-class values. My name is Cesar Aguilar, and I have the great privilege of serving Legislative District 26 in the House of Representatives. I was first elected to the Arizona State Legislature in November 2022, and currently serve on the House Elections committee. I am the ranking member of the Commerce Committee. As the son of immigrants who came to this country and have been workers and entrepreneurs, the values taught to me by my family have always been to promote commerce and respect workers. Both rely on each other for a strong economy to prosper and as the ranking member of the Commerce Committee, I am proud of what we have been able to accomplish for Arizonans. As I enter my reelection I plan to continue to advocate for the same values of expanding medicaid to working families, properly funding education across the board, and getting rid of Right-To-Work in Arizona, so families can have good healthcare, a livable wage, and a pension so they can retire comfortably. Too many families are just getting by and I continue to stand up for the most vulnerable in my district. I humble ask for your vote for another term to accomplish even more.

Quantá Crews
State Representative - District 26
Democratic
https://quantaforaz.com/
Rev. Quantá Crews is a property appraiser and associate minister at Historic Tanner Chapel A.M.E. Church in Phoenix. She leads the Special Needs and Young Adult Ministries. Her work revealed inequitable legislation and policies that caused harm to Arizonans. Quantá seeks to target opportunities for revolutionary change. In June 2023, she was appointed to the Arizona House of Representatives, serving Legislative District 26. She serves on the Ways & Means and Regulatory Affairs Committee where she is ranking member. Apart from serving humanity and appraising real estate, Quantá enjoys her amazing sons, and writing poetry in her spare time. I'm honored to serve LD26 as State Representative and proud of the great work we're doing! I'm fighting for an Arizona where all can thrive. The housing, education and healthcare costs go up, while pay remains the same. My passions include housing security, education and workforce development, protected public education and natural resources, and equitable property tax policy. I've seen how inequitable legislation has been weaponized to harm Arizonans. I'm committed to championing the issues that matter most to our community like housing and shelter. Access to safe and affordable housing is a right. I'll work diligently with allies to protect and expand reproductive rights, ensuring that individuals and their doctors can decide what is best. I am committed to collaborating with educators, parents, and community stakeholders to strengthen our public school system. Sustainable water management is key to a thriving Arizona. I'll continue to advocate to protect water resources while ensuring fair and equitable access for all. Engaging in constructive dialogue, I've sought innovative solutions that balance the needs of our community. I implore you to join our movement and VOTE QUANTÁ on July 30th and November 5th 2024!

I am committed to safe neighborhoods, excellent schools, good jobs, and prioritizing the needs of our community over the special interests that seem to dominate our political system. Crime is out of control, even though we all know safe neighborhoods are the foundation of thriving communities. I'll work with public safety groups to ensure our streets are safe so our families and children can walk without fear. A strong education system means everything to our children's future, which is why I will advocate for increased funding for teachers and staff, get more dollars into the classroom instead of the administration, and promote policies that ensure that every kid gets access to a high-quality education, regardless of their zip code. Good jobs are how we provide for our families now and our retirement later, but too many of us are stuck living paycheck to paycheck. That's why I'll work to attract new businesses and provide training opportunities to equip our workforce with the skills they need for high-paying jobs now. Our incumbent lawmakers prioritize special interests over our well-being. We deserve better. I ask for your vote and thank you for your support!

I've lived and worked in our district for over 25 years. I have a degree in Business Administration and I'm a small business owner of a company that produces "Private Label All Natural Progesterone and Hormone Balance Creams. " I'm also a real estate investor, which is how I get to talk to so many people in our neighborhoods. I'm an aircraft pilot and certified flight instructor, and own thoroughbred racehorses that I race at Turf Paradise and Santa Anita racetracks. I also earned my Eagle Scout while in Boy Scouts of America. Do you wish our State Representative was working to stop crime, secure our border, end the fentanyl epidemic, and improve our schools? I do, which is why I'm running for office. I'm an ordinary citizen with an extraordinary work ethic, and I am ready to get this job done. Today's politicians don't care about working-class families anymore - they're too busy collecting checks from big donors and special interests. Not me. I'm a 4 th generation Arizonan and small business owner who is running using Clean Elections, which means I'm not taking a dime from special interests, their PACs, or their lobbyists. Not one cent! And because I work for you, and just you, I'll put all my energy into cleaning up our streets, improving our schools, helping our state to deal with illegal immigration and the problems it has brought to our neighborhoods, and more. We know this isn't complicated and we know things can be better because things used to be better. We just have to change who is in charge and put regular working people back in charge. If you agree, I ask for your vote!
