Official Rules + Terms & Conditions:

1. Parties
This Agreement ("Agreement") is made between Riester ("Company"), with its principal place of business at 3344 E Camelback Rd, and [Guest Artist Name] ("Artist"), residing at [Address].

2. Scope of Work
2.1. The Artist agrees to create illustrations, artwork, and related creative materials ("Artwork") as a guest artist for the Clean Elections comic book series ("Comic Book").
2.2. The Artist agrees to depict illustrations, artwork, and related creative materials (“Artwork”) in a non-partisan manner. (e.g., no protest signs with anti-something messages).

3. Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights
3.1. All characters, storylines, and intellectual property associated with the Comic Book are the sole property of the Company.
3.2. The Artist acknowledges that they have no ownership rights or claims to the proprietary characters or storylines, nor any derivative works thereof.
3.3. The Artist may include the work in their portfolio for purposes of self-promotion.
3.4. Any Artwork created by the Artist under this Agreement shall be considered a "Work Made for Hire" under U.S. copyright law and will be the exclusive property of the Company.
3.5. In the event the Artwork does not qualify as a "Work Made for Hire," the Artist hereby irrevocably assigns all rights, title, and interest in the Artwork to the Company.

4. Compensation
4.1. The Company agrees to compensate the Artist at a rate negotiated one-on-one.
a. Payment shall be made within 30 days of submission and acceptance of Artwork.
4.2. No additional royalties or residuals shall be owed to the Artist for the use of the Artwork in the Comic Book or related media.

5. Confidentiality
5.1. The Artist agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or confidential information provided by the Company.
5.2. This confidentiality obligation remains in effect during and after the term of this Agreement.

6. Representations and Warranties
6.1. The Artist warrants that the Artwork will be original, created solely by the Artist, and will not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
6.2. The Artist agrees that the work will not consist of any material generated by computer Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs.
6.3. The Company reserves the right to reject any Artwork that does not meet its quality standards or violates this Agreement.

7. Indemnification
The Artist agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the breach of the Artist's representations and warranties.

8. Termination
8.1. Either party may terminate this Agreement with [Number] days' written notice.
8.2. Upon termination, the Artist shall return all materials related to the Comic Book and cease use of any proprietary characters or information.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

10. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, whether written or oral.

11. Amendments
Any amendments to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.

12. Signatures
By signing, the parties acknowledge their understanding and agreement to the terms outlined above.
