Clean Elections teams with the Arizona Center for Civic Leadership at the Flinn Foundation to present forum on running for office.
Clean Elections, Arizona’s nonpartisan election agency will join the nonpartisan Arizona Center for Civic Leadership at the Flinn Foundation for a workshop on running for office.
Join Clean Elections’ Voter Education Director and 2019 Flinn-Brown Fellow Gina Roberts, Executive Director Tom Collins and campaign experts Stacy Pearson (Lumen Strategies) and Constantin Querard (Grassroots Partners) for the online program tomorrow September 27 at 2 p.m. The program is part of the Center’s CivEx webinar series and Clean Elections 2023 civic engagement and voter education campaign.
“We are excited for the chance to educate Arizonans about the essential skills and knowledge necessary to run for office,” Roberts said. “Running for office is a critical form of public service and understanding the basic requirements can help a person decide if they want to make that commitment to their community.”
Querard, a Republican, and Pearson, a Democrat will provide attendees an opportunity to hear from long-me campaign leaders with a track record of success, while Clean Elections will provide the nuts and bolts on running for office.
“Clean Elections’ core mission is to promote participation in elections whether by voters or candidates,” Collins said. “Our fall outreach campaign is designed to demystify civic engagement from the grassroots up.”
